Today and last night have been super rainy. Last night a storm came through. It also has cooled off quite a bit this week. There were lots of different noises at my plot today. I could hear the wind in the trees because it was very gusty. I also could hear the sound of rain on both the trees and on the water. Also I heard the noise of rushing water which I haven't heard very much in the past because usually the water is moving fast enough. Today the water was very deep and was moving very very fast. I also saw that the amount of water bugs decreased today and there were hardly any bugs jumping on the surface of the water. I did see a centipede on the bank of the water. There also some leaves falling but not as many as I expected for how windy it was. The foliage on the ground continued to decrease and the dead leaves increased. The water also was a lot deeper and wider than it usually is. When I stepped in it it go into my boots because it was so deep.
